Review: Exploring Calvin and Hobbes contains biographical information on Bill Watterson, a lengthy interview with him, a discussion of the tools he used to create Calvin and Hobbes, previous writers who influenced him and a lot of wonderful cartoons (none of them new, alas).
I am a big fan of this strip, so naturally I wanted to have this book. If you want to read a bunch about how Watterson became who he was and how he did what he did and be reminded of some great strips, you will want it too.
The book, as the subtitle indicates, is a catalogue of an exhibition of Watterson's work.
About the Author: Bill Watterrson is the creator of Calvin and Hobbes, one of the most popular comic strips of all time.
